How to Apply Cushion Grip Thermoplastic Denture Adhesive:

Cushion grip thermoplastic denture adhesive works on almost all properly-fitted dentures and will hold your dentures in place up to 4 days with only a single application. However, that does not mean you should leave your dentures in your mouth for four days. Dentures should be removed and cleaned nightly and left in clean water overnight. Properly handled, cleaning and soaking will not remove your thermoplastic adhesive or reduce its ability to hold your dentures firmly in place for several days.

Remove your dentures and clean them thoroughly.
Place six pea-sized drops of cushion grip thermoplastic denture adhesive evenly spaced inside your upper denture. Do the same thing to your lower denture.
Place your upper dentures in place without touching the pea-sized drops of adhesive. Bite down gently to squish the adhesive down into an even layer.
Insert your lower dentures, again being careful not to touch the adhesive with your fingers. Bite down slowly but firmly, allowing the adhesive to squeeze into all the gaps between your dentures and your gums.
Use your fingers and a damp wash cloth to wipe away any excess adhesive that is forced out into your mouth. Wait 5 minutes before putting pressure on your dentures.
